Klong Ong Aang

Just steps from MRT Sam Yot station, you’ll find one of Bangkok’s newest and coolest hangout spots. Klong Ong Aang is a chic walking street with food stalls, art murals, street performances and fun water activities. Thanks to the city’s 2015 beautification project, Ong Ang Canal has been transformed into a gorgeous spot to try paddle boarding or kayaking or for a pleasant evening’s stroll. Charoen Chai Community

Nestled in a small alley between Charoenkrung and Phlapphla Chai Road, only a 2-minute walk from ASAI Bangkok Chinatown, Charoen Chai Community welcomes visitors back to the good old days of Thai-Chinese culture and way of life. This old house was converted into a museum to preserve the heritage of the community. It’s also a popular place to buy the joss paper used in many Chinese religious rituals.
