The F&B concept at ASAI hotel aims to bring authentic flavours of Thailand to the heart of Kyoto, inspired by the rich Thai curry culture of the buzzling streets of Bangkok.

Soi Gaeng

Soi Gaeng, the name of the dining venue, also offers Thai drinking food or “a -harn glub glam” expertly paired with classic cocktails, and selections of premium Japanese whisky, sake, and beer casually served in a vibrant yet cosy space. Signature dessert (kanom wan) offerings ranging from the beloved mango sticky rice to coconut ice cream with various condiments and toppings for guests to personalise.

Thai Dessert Buffet at Soi Gaeng

Savour the essence of Thailand this winter with our 'Coconut Harvest Buffet' at ASAI Kyoto. From December 1st to the end of January, we're bringing the warmth of tropical flavours to the cold season, featuring the delightful versatility of coconut. Curated by our Bangkok-born chef Lei Hangam, the buffet showcases coconut in exquisite Thai sweets, reminiscent of winter's snow in their delicate presentation.
